This bottle is a unique. Winemaker Deirdre Heekin has made this cider in a style that honors an old-school Italian cider called vin ëd pom. Traditionally made high in the Alps where fresh cider is fermented on red wine skins in large wooden vats. The base cider is made in a solera method, where different vintages are layered in.
