Tucked away in the hills of Suvereto near Bolgheri on the Tuscan Coast – one of the hottest areas in Tuscany – is the 15-acre Montepeloso estate. This area is famous for creating “Super Tuscan” wines (red wines which are a blend of Italian and classic French varieties).
The intense nose is dominated by dark fruits and balsamic notes, intermixed with spicy aromas and mineral notes. On the palate the texture is mineral combined again with hints of black fruits and aromatic woods.
