Variety: Cabernet Franc
Size: 1.5-2.0 ha (3.70-4.95 ac) depending on the vintage
Vine Age: Planted between 1955 and 2012
Terroir: From multiple plots in Montreuil-Bellay and Brézé, on silt-sand soils over soft limestone bedrock.
Viticulture: Certified organic (AB, 2007), Guyau Val de Loire pruning, 5,500 vines/ha, maximum yields of 55-60 hl/ha.
Vinification: Sorted in the vineyards, pressed with whole clusters, ambient yeast fermentation, aged for 4-6 months in stainless steel tanks, no fining, lightly filtered.
