Patina is a barrel aged gin created from organic corn and 15 additional botanicals on top of Juniper, including lemon balm, passionflower and elderflower. It is barreled at 120 proof in a charred oak barrel once used to create ISCO's Blue Velvet Bourbon, made from two very special Mexican and American blue corns. After 3 – 4 months of aging "to taste," Patina is bottled at 90 proof to best highlight its oak-imparted flavors of sweet vanilla and caramel alongside a base of floral, herbal gin—creating complex layers that float in your mouth. Recommended cocktails: Fabulous sipped by itself on the rocks, a Bee's Knees, Negroni, or a twist on an Old Fashioned.
