The story of ENO begins in the spring of 1989, when our founders, Jerry and his wife Roberta, moved to Italy. By August, they had settled into a small cottage on a vineyard in the Tuscan hills and began to find their daily rhythm. Mornings were spent tending the garden or foraging for wild mushrooms and chestnuts before heading into town—first for cappuccinos, then to the bakery, and finally from shop to shop collecting ingredients for that evening’s meal. The last stop was always the enoteca—the local wineshop. It was there that Jerry fell in love with the ritual of pairing each meal with just the right wine.

With ENO, Jerry and Roberta set out to bring that spirit home—a shop that combines the charm of an old-world neighborhood setting with a sophisticated and approachable selection of wines from around the world. We invite you to discover, taste, and enjoy something new each time you visit.
